Amy Petrovic, an alumna of the College's Hospitality Management program, shares her experiences as a Catering Sales Manager for the Bertram Inn Hotel & Conference Center in Aurora. Petrovic first shadowed an employee at the Bertram Inn as part of Dr. Swathi Ravichandran's Meetings Management course and eventually worked her way up to full-time employment as an event planner. Amy plans weddings, Bar Mitzvahs and other celebrations and events.

Amie Abouhassan, a senior Hospitality Management student, plans to graduate in May 2009 and pursue a hospitality management position in Las Vegas, Neveda. Abouhassan was given the opportunity to intern at MGM Grand, a 5,073-room hotel and casino, in Las Vegas during the Summer 2008 break.
