We have a close working relationship with the Kent State University Dining Services Department. Many of the managers and certified executive chefs serve as instructors for courses and laboratories, and several of the food production courses are taught in residence hall cafeterias.
The Kent Student Center, which houses the Schwebel Garden Room and extensive banquet facilities, provides an excellent resource for laboratory experiences for students. This is also an excellent opportunity for on-campus student employment.
