The baccalaureate degree program in NF: Hospitality Management (HM) prepares prepares leaders for careers in major hospitality industry segments through academic and research programs valuing quality of life, business success, collaborative partnerships, creative approaches, and ethical principles.
As program outcomes, graduates of the undergraduate program will demonstrate
- Foundational knowledge of hospitality operations
- Competence in business practices and managerial decision making
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills including professional behavior, collaborative relationships, and proficiency in networking
- Analytical thinking and problem solving

Awards
The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) Education Foundation awarded KSU's PCMA Student Chapter with $500 to fund chapter projects, events and activities. KSU was one of four student chapters in the nation to receive this honor. PCMA also awarded Hospitality Management major Brittany Belko with an Annual Meeting Scholarship. She was one of three students in the nation to receive complimentary airfare, hotel accommodations and registration to the 53rd PCMA Annual Meeting in New Orleans from January 11-14, 2009.
