The Instructional Resources Center (IRC) will be offering workshops/ seminars throughout the year on a variety of technologies. All faculty, staff and graduate students are welcome to attend. We hope you will take advantage of some or all that might be helpful in your teaching, research or work. Please let us know if you have a topic you would like included in the series.

Upcoming Worshops

The IRC is offering a few open training workshops on Blackboard Vista and Respondus software.  For those of you that are unfamiliar with Respondus, it is a software tool that allows for the creation and editing of assessments in Microsoft Word.   It allows for a more intuitive and traditional method of creating exams, tests, quizzes, etc.  This can be an extremely valuable time saver since you don't have to navigate through the numerous input boxes when creating an assessment.   This is open to all faculty and graduate assistants and is appropriate for introductory to advanced issues.

Tues, Nov. 10: Open Vista Training, 2-4pm, 211 WTH
Wed, Nov. 18: Respondus Training, 2-4pm, 211 WTH
Fri, Nov. 20: Open Vista Training, 10-12pm, 211 WTH
Mon, Nov. 23: Respondus Training, 2-4pm, 211 WTH
