Recreation, Parks and Tourism Management students are required to complete a semester long, 600 hour, internship prior to graduation. Often this internship leads students to their first full time job after graduation. Current internship and job opportunities will be regularly posted to this web page.

The intern will plan, organize, implement and evaluate programs throughout their internship. They will also be required to create presentations for meetings and provide logistical support as needed. The Environmental Education Instructor duties include teaching school children, developing public programs and activities for families and summer camps. Brimfield Township Parks and Recreation Department will be hiring responsible, enthusiastic and fun-loving counselors to work in our Summer Day Camp program this year. The program runs Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm for ten weeks and includes a weekly topic, library visit and field trip. You will be expected to direct and participate in daily sports, crafts and activities with the children, as well as, some preparation, set-up and clean-up and record keeping.
